1. The size of the floc. Choosing cationic polyacrylamide, the size of the flocs directly affects the speed of water discharge. If it is too large, it will cause the flocs to constrain more water, resulting in a decrease in the degree of mud biscuit.
2. Corresponding sludge selection. Because sludge is mainly divided into organic and inorganic types, cations are mainly used for the disposal of organic sludge, and corresponding anions are used for inorganic sludge. Cations are used when the alkalinity is strong, while anions are not suitable when the acidity is strong.
3. The strength of the flocs. The flocs need to remain stable without breaking under shear, and selecting appropriate molecular weight or structure can help improve the stability of the flocs.
4. Ionicity. For dehydrated sludge, flocculants with different ionic degrees should be selected through experiments to select the appropriate ionic degree, in order to achieve the best flocculant effect and reduce the dosage.
5. Dissolve into a solution. Dissolve the granules into a solution, and only when the dissolution is good can the flocculation effect be fully exerted. According to the demand, the dissolution rate can be accelerated, and at this time, the concentration of polyacrylamide solution can be improved.
