The difference between soda ash and caustic soda

(1) Sodium carbonate(Soda ash) belongs to the salt category and is easily soluble in water, but its aqueous solution is alkaline. It is one of the important chemical raw materials used in the production of chemicals, cleaning agents, detergents, as well as in imaging and medical medicine.

(2) Caustic soda has strong corrosiveness, is easily soluble in water, and can easily absorb water vapor from the air. It can be used in papermaking, soap, dyes, artificial silk, aluminum production, petroleum refining, cotton fabric finishing, purification of coal tar products, as well as food processing, wood processing, and machinery industry.
